About Coach Meg Milliman
Coach Meg Milliman brings a deep passion for player development and a wealth of coaching experience across both the collegiate and club levels.
Meg began playing lacrosse as a high school freshman, quickly falling in love with the game. Without access to traditional club opportunities, she developed her skills through local rec programs and high school competition. With the support of her coach, who helped promote her through game film and recruiting outreach, Meg earned the opportunity to play at York College of Pennsylvania, where she was a four-year player and two-year team captain.
Her coaching career began during her junior year of college and has spanned more than a decade. Meg held collegiate coaching roles at Marywood University before becoming Head Coach at Frostburg State University, where she led the program from 2010 to 2015. She later continued coaching at Cortland State, Binghamton University, and Wells College.
While in New York, Meg founded RIDE Lacrosse, a non-profit club program focused on Recruiting, Instruction, Development, and Empowerment. The program emphasized not only skill development, but also building confidence and strong relationships, many of which she maintains to this day.
After relocating to the Baltimore area in 2020, Meg stepped back from collegiate coaching to focus on family, while continuing to stay closely connected to the game. Most recently, she served as the Director of Girls Club Lacrosse at Kelly Post and Head Coach of the 2029 team, where she led multiple teams while building a strong, player-centered culture.
Now, as Head Coach of the 2029 Gold team at Legends, Meg is excited to bring her experience, energy, and player-first philosophy to the program. She is committed to creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can grow, build confidence, and develop a lasting love for the game.

Head Coach | Meghan Hickey
Hi all! I’m Coach Meghan and I’ve been coaching for the last 6 years. I’ve played lacrosse since I was five years old and have played midfield, defense, attack, and have been a lefty draw specialist. I played in college at Eastern Mennonite University where I was the top goal scorer my freshman year before unfortunately undergoing too many injuries. I coached lacrosse at the high school and club level in Florida before finding my roots back home here in Maryland where I have coached club lacrosse the last 2 years. As a coach, I truly believe that the purpose of club lacrosse is to build confidence in players, build and increase lacrosse IQ, improve lacrosse skills, and most of all, have a good time doing it.
